The Great Famine Memorial – Dublin

During a recent photo walk I took a few images of the statues at Custom House Quay in Dublin’s Docklands. These commemorate the Great Famine of the mid-19th century. The haunting sculptures represent the starving people of Ireland walking towards Dublin Port.
The sculptures were created by Dublin artist Rowan Gillespie.
